Lightsaber

I turned this on a manual lathe with guidance from my dad. This was a project for a theater tech assignment where I had to make a prop from pop-culture. The hilt is 6061 with some knurled knobs I had laying around screwed in to the sides. There is a long fiberglass rod inserted into the top to represent the “blade”. There is a bottom “cap” piece that detaches so that you can insert a flashlight into the hilt but I never purchased a flashlight small enough to test this.
